





As a mother, NLP practitioner, Life Coach, and Somatic Breathwork Facilitator, I am passionate about helping mothers stuck in survival mode regain control and joy so that calm, patience, and connection become possible again, even in the middle of real life.
Becoming a mother to my three beautiful children was simultaneously the most wonderful and the most terrible thing that has ever happened in my life. I had always wanted to be a mother and love my children dearly, but I was not prepared to the limits to which my sanity would be pushed.
As the years passed things kept getting harder not easier. I was able to enjoy less of the good moments and got stuck in survival mode: easily triggered by my kids, yelling, and then feeling so guilty about it all.
I read all the parenting books, took classes, and some things would help a little bit, but nothing really stuck and in the end it all made me feel worse because I was left wondering if I was broken.
Was I doomed to fail as a mother...
Finally I found a light: Nervous System Regulation. I learned that no matter how badly you want to be a good mother you won't be able to handle the stresses that motherhood brings if you are stuck in fight or flight.
I learned a few simple somatic exercises and started to do them each day. At first I could only manage 3 minutes (I was so exhausted). But even just those 3 minutes started to make a difference. Within a week I had my first win where I was able to remain in control when triggered by my kids.
Within a few weeks I had noticeably increased my capacity to handle my stress and triggers. FINALLY! I had been yearning for this for years.
The more weeks that passed the better and better it kept getting. This simple but important work of regulating my nervous system even kept me going through a pregnancy loss, moving, and the newborn phase.
I'm so passionate about sharing this with other moms who feel like they've lost hope it could ever get better. I promise you it can! And it doesn't even have to be complicated or take a huge time commitment.
